Travis Fortnum’s journey into journalism began in the small town of Blackstock, Ontario, where he was born and raised. Growing up in a tight-knit community, Travis developed a deep appreciation for storytelling and the impact of local news. He never missed the evening news and nurtured a love of writing all through school.
After graduation, Travis quickly made a name for himself in the Canadian news industry.
His career has taken him from local stories to the national stage and even to international reporting — always bringing integrity, heart and a creative flair to his work.
